Linaria triornithophora

ζ*L. triornithophora

ζ*L. triornithophora ζ* was collected wild in 1873, but has not been collected wild again although it is sometimes present as a relic of cultivation in old gardens. A large-flowered perennial easily distinguished from all other wild or cultivated spp. by the large ovate lvs and purple fls with a white dark-veined spur > 15 mm long. It was first recorded as L. purpurea. (Iberian Peninsula, 1981).
