Checklist
CHECKLISTS OF NATURALISED GRASSES
The purpose of the Checklists, eight of which were published, was to record for use in advance of the Flora (i) taxa naturalised here; (ii) region of origin; (iii) distribution in New Zealand, and (iv) the date of the first record of appearance here, and (v) provide keys to native and naturalised genera, to naturalised species, and to native species where they occur with naturalised species in the same genus. The only genera for which there are no published data are Achnatherum (Stipeae) and Festuca and Schedonorus (Poeae); all are attended to below.
