Var. prostratum Petrie in T.N.Z.I. 44, 1912, 180.

Type: W (Herb. Petrie) "Gravel bed of Opihi River, Fairlie, S. Canterbury. 960 ft. 6:2:1911."

Branches prostrate, radiating from stock, peduncles ± 10-(5) mm. long.

DIST.: S. Has about range of typical form.
