Aconitum napellus

ζ*Aconitum napellus L.

ζ*Aconitum napellus L. ζ*, monkshood, has been collected from waste land at Ashburton as a garden discard (CHR 92170, Healy 56/272, 31.10.1956). A perennial herb; lvs 3-foliolate, 7-14 × 10-20 cm; infl. a raceme; perianth segments blue-purple, the posterior hooded. Poisonous (Connor 1977). (Europe, 1904).
