ζ*Thalictrum L. ζ*Two spp. have been collected as casual escapes or discards from cultivation. Both are perennial herbs with dissected glaucous lvs, panicles of small fls with exserted anthers, and small short-beaked achenes. *T. aquilegiifolium L. has been collected once (CHR 122785, waste land in Botanic Gardens, Christchurch, Healy 59/550, 9.10.1959). It has small pale stipels at the base of the petiolules, anther filaments as thick as the anthers, and 3-winged stipitate pendulous achenes. (C. and N. Europe, C. Russia, 1968). *T. minus L. has been collected once (WELT 61297, Karori Cemetery, Brownsey, 4.12.1979). It has leaflets without stipels, filiform anther filaments, and weakly ribbed sessile achenes. (Europe, Siberia, S.W. Asia, N. Africa, 1988).
