Lecidea dracophylli

Lectotype: New Zealand. Canterbury: Porters Pass, 1000 m, on twigs of Dracophyllum, ii.1874, S. Berggren L5 – S [fide Galloway (1985a: 231)].

Endemic
Lecidea dracophylli is characterised by: the corticolous habit; the effuse, grey-fawn to glaucous or ochraceous, granular thallus; dark-brown to black apothecia; a green-black epithecium; and ellipsoidal ascospores, 12–15.5 × 5–7 μm. As indicated above, this species is not correctly accommodated in Lecidea s. str.
