Tribe CICHORIEAE

Capitula with all florets ligulate, us. perfect; phyll. ± = in 1 or 2 series, calyculus often present; receptacle bearing scales or nude. Corolla yellow, ligule 5-toothed; style-arms flattened and stigmatic in upper part, rounded and hairy near junction; anthers acute at base, sts ± tailed. Herbs with us. ± rosulate lvs and cop. latex.
