Capitula heterogamous, mostly radiate; corolla us. yellow; disk-florets perfect, tubular; ray-florets ligulate, pistillate, sts absent. Pappus of capillary hairs or chaffy scales or 0. Style-arms flattened, appendiculate, papillose, us. densely hairy towards tips. Stigmatic lines distinct. Anthers obtuse to sagittate. Phyll. herbaceous to chartaceous, in several series. Lvs all alt., us. entire.
