Eucalyptus macarthurii
ζ*E. macarthurii Deane et Maiden ζ* has been recorded wild in the Waikato and collected wild from the Kaingaroa State Forest near Rotorua. The vegetative parts resemble those of E. viminalis, but the umbels have 7 fls, and the hemispheric frs are typically only 4-5 × 5-6.5 mm. The crushed lvs are distinctively perfumed. It has been widely planted in shelter belts in many cooler parts of N.Z. (Southern N.S.W., 1957).
