Eucalyptus fastigata
ζ*E. fastigata Deane et Maiden ζ*, cut-tail, has been collected wild in the vicinity of planted stands at Rotoehu State Forest (Bay of Plenty), Oakura (Taranaki) and Whakarewarewa State Forest Park (Rotorua). It differs from the related E. regnans by the more heavily-branched crown, the trunk being completely covered in stringy bark with only the branches smooth, the fr. disc prominent and domed, and the valves level or slightly exserted.
