Eucalyptus elata
ζ*E. elata Dehnh. ζ* has been collected wild in the Athenree State Forest, near Waihi, Bay of Plenty. Like E. pulchella, it is a member of the peppermint group of eucalypts, but has compact, persistent bark towards the base, lanceolate lvs, and prominently pedicellate fr. with enclosed valves. It has been previously known in N.Z. as E. lindleyana. (S.E. Australia, 1988).
