Slender ± matted small herb up to 8 cm. tall; stems erect or prostrate, 2.5-7·5 mm. long, filiform, sparingly branched; internodes 5-10 mm. long. Lvs 2-3·5 mm. long, fleshy, very narrow-oblong, obtuse, minutely apiculate. Fls 1·5-1·75 mm. diam., on peduncles ± 1 mm. long. Calyx minute; lobes broad-ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse; petals = or slightly > sepals, broad-oblong, obtuse. Scales 4. Carpels ovoid; seeds 2-4.
