Cassinia vauvilliersii var. albida Kirk

Type locality: Seaward Kaikoura Range. Type: W, Kirk.

Branchlets and lvs clad in dense white tomentum; lvs linear-spathulate, becoming glab. above; midrib very prominent below.

DIST.: S. Montane and subalpine shrubland and grassland: Kaikoura Ranges; drainage area of Upper Clarence, Awatere and Wairau Rivers.
