Var. serpentina Ckn. et Allan in T.N.Z.I. 56, 1926, 22.

Type: W, Herb. Cockayne.

Lvs c. 4 mm. long; tomentum pale brown; midrib less distinct. Corymbs c. 1·5 cm. diam.; capitula c. 20.

DIST.: S. Scrub on Dun Mountain and neighbouring "mineral belt", Nelson.
