Cassinia vauvilliersii var. pallida Allan

Var. pallida Allan var. nov. 

Type locality: Robinson Creek, Upper Awatere. Type: BD 87404, H. H. Allan.

Branchlets and lvs clad in greenish yellow tomentum. Lvs c. 10 × 2-3 mm., narrow oblong-spathulate; corymbs dense, capitula c. 35, florets c. 15; achenes pubescent.

DIST.: N., S. Montane and subalpine shrubland and grassland from lat. 40° southwards.
